Jon Hale, Ph.D., CFA, is former head of sustainability research at Morningstar, where he led the development of the Morningstar Sustainability Rating and the Low Carbon designation for funds, and directed the company's research initiatives on sustainable investing. Jon was named to Barron's list of the 20 most influential people in sustainable investing and was a member of the magazine's sustainable investing roundtable. He currently serves on the Sustainable Investing Advisory Board for Brown Advisory.
