Endurance International posts 4Q profit

BURLINGTON, Mass. (AP) _ Endurance International Group Holdings Inc. (EIGI) on Tuesday reported fourth-quarter net income of $7.5 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.

On a per-share basis, the Burlington, Massachusetts-based company said it had profit of 5 cents.

The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 17 cents per share.

The provider of cloud-based technology services posted revenue of $294.3 million in the period, also beating Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $289.7 million.

For the year, the company reported that its loss widened to $107.3 million, or 78 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $1.18 billion.

Endurance International expects full-year revenue in the range of $1.14 billion to $1.16 billion.

Endurance International shares have decreased 11 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has dropped 9 percent in the last 12 months.
