CareDx: 3Q Earnings Snapshot

BRISBANE, Calif. (AP) _ CareDx Inc. (CDNA) on Thursday reported a loss of $20 million in its third quarter.

The Brisbane, California-based company said it had a loss of 54 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs and stock option expense, were 1 cent per share.

The molecular diagnostics company posted revenue of $21.2 million in the period, beating Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $18.5 million.

CareDx expects full-year earnings in the range of $74 to $75 per share.

CareDx shares have more than tripled since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $27.74, climbing fivefold in the last 12 months.
