Molycor Brings Experts On Board

Spotlight Companies |

Molycor GoldVancouver, BC-based Molycor Gold Corp. (MOR.TSXV), (MLYFF), (M1V.F), made waves with the announcement that Robert Brown would be joining the Board of Directors and James Sever has been brought on as the Chief Operating Officer. The company is a multi-metal exploration and development company specializing in gold, molybdenum, and magnesium with 12 properties that are either co-owned or owned outright in British Columbia and Nevada.

Brown Brings Experience

Robert Brown has been a part of the mining industry for over 50 years, with experience in both ferrous and non-ferrous materials and 20 years in technical management of light metal foundries and reduction plants. Brown has also been the publisher of "Magnesium Monthly Review," a trade publication, since 1971, and he works as a contributor for "Light Metal Age" and "Australian Journal of Mining" with over 25 publications. He adds another experienced presence to the Molycor board and brings more valued perspective to Molycor's magnesium exploration and development operations.

Sever to Streamline Operations

With 30 years worth of experience in non-ferrous metals, chemical, industrial and operational management, Sever also brings quite a bit to the table for Molycor. His track record includes nine years employed by Alcoa at their Northwest Alloys, Inc. magnesium plant located at Addy, WA. Sever is the president of Alpha Omega Engineering, Inc., which recently sent a paper to Molycor highlighting potential areas of improvement in the Tami-Mosi Magnesium Project in British Columbia. The paper suggested additional potential savings in cost reductions to the current magnesium production while potentially increasing revenues.

Additions Impact Executive Team

Both James Sever and Robert Brown represent experts in the Magnesium field and should benefit operations at the Tami-Mosi Magnesium Project. Magnesium represents a metal where global production has long been dominated by the Chinese. Exploration and development of magnesium properties should be an area with great growth potential in the coming years, and Molycor's hiring of Brown and Sever solidifies that promise.
