VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA – January 11, 2017: ALTAIR RESOURCES INC. (“Altair” or the “Company”) (TSX V: AVX; Germany
FRA: 90A; ISIN: CA02137W1014; WKN: WKN A2ALMP) Mr. John Huguet, Chairman of the Board, wishes to announce the initiation of planning for a 2017 exploration program on its Invictus Project in Kosovo.

Numerous high grade zinc and lead occurrences on the property justify an aggressive program on this little-explored are
a. The initial exploration target is the determination of zinc distribution within a zone measuring 500 meters by 300 meters by 50 meters deep. On surface in this area are several trenches that exhibit high grade zinc-lead mineralization
with numerous trench samples running between 17-35% zinc plus lead over 2-4 meter widths within broader mineralized zone
s. Several drill holes are needed to check for depth continuity within the targe area.

Gravity surveying will check not only on the target area and also on a broader scale for the possibility of a much lar
ger target within a belt of limestones and schists that host numerous rich surface showings and some historical undergr
ound workings.

Altair’s Invictus Exploration Project lies within the Crepuliga property in the Mitrovica District of Kosovo, seventeen
kilometers due west of the city of Mitrovica. Altair holds a 9.82 sq km exploration license within this historical zin
c, lead, and silver producing region where metals have been produced since the Middle Ages.

Two belts 50km and 20km long run northerly through central Kosovo. Within this belt the Trepca group of 40 mines and p
rocessing facilities have produced since Roman times, and employed over 20,000 people prior to destruction during the re
cent war. Overall the country is reported to contain 60.5 million tonnes grading 4.96 %lead, 3-3% zinc, and 74.4 g/t silver (Wikepedia). For the Trepca area alone the United Nations Mission in Kosovo Report in 2001 states a resource of 29
million tonnes grading 3.40-3.45% lead, 2.23-2.36% zinc , and 74-81 g/t silver.

Recommendations for work and details of work to date including geochemistry, geophysics, trenching, drilling and sampling are available in a National Instrument 43-101 Report by Perry Grunenberg (2015) filed by the Company on SEDAR. An Internal Corporate Report (2016) by Prof. Dr. Alaudin Kodra of Kosovo recommends drilling of up to 20 holes to extend know
n surface and drill hole intercepts.

Results of a 2016 trenching program (see Press Release Oct.11,2016) extended the trenched area of high grade showings to
over 450 meters and discovered four new areas of outcropping high grade zinc-lead-silver mineralization. The surface target zone on the property extends over 5km in length and 200-500m in width.

It should be noted that there are no reserves or resources on the Altair property holding, nor can there be any assurance that any such resource or reserve will be established, and if established whether such resource or reserve will be economically recoverable.

The contents of this press release have been reviewed and approved by Dr. Stewart A Jackson, PGeo., a Technical Advisor
to the Company, and a Qualified Person under National Instrument 43-101.
