BOCA RATON, Fla., July 10, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Poly Shield Technologies Inc. (“Poly Shield“) (SHPR) has completed the inspection portion of a two-ship installation survey for its DSOX-15 Fuel Scrubber. The inspections were completed this week in Ketchikan, Alaska by the Poly Shield engineering team. The DSOX-15 Fuel Scrubber System represents the latest solution in the battle to reduce exhaust emissions in the maritime industry. It also offers a substantial reduction in the cost of compliance with new regulations scheduled to take effect in 2015. After a thorough review of the survey analysis, Mr. Norling commented: “The survey information confirmed what we had originally believed which is that the installation team will not face any issues with space or fuel system compatibility.” The next survey is scheduled later this month in the Mediterranean.

 Poly Shield Technologies will continue updating the public on the DSOX -15 project as it progresses through testing to certification.
