Guardian Group Training Trains Management and Scouts on Indicators

BRADENTON, FL – (March 25, 2019) – The Pittsburgh Pirates are taking a proactive approach in the fight against sex trafficking. This week the team’s management and scouts received training on the indicators of sex trafficking from Guardian Group.

Guardian Group is a veteran-operated national nonprofit whose mission is to prevent and disrupt the sex trafficking of women and children while enabling partners to identify victims and predators in the United States. Their strategy is two-fold and incorporates offense and defense. Offensively, through the skills of the group’s elite former military team, it acts as a force multiplier for law enforcement by providing training and consulting to empower them to relentlessly pursue predators. Defensively, the organization equips the hospitality industry, medical field, corporations and communities with the information and response protocol through the Guardian Seal® Recognition and Response Training.

The Pittsburgh Pirate’s commitment to excellence and development of the whole team was inspiring. The emphasis on focusing on the ‘whole man’ and a positive culture is a perfect fit with Guardian Group.
