How Can We Make Sure AI Is Ethical?

Artificial intelligence is going to be taking over a lot of things in our daily lives, from driving to work tasks. Unfortunately at this point in time AI is too easily programmed with bias thanks to human bias being programmed in. Algorithms programmed to find the best job candidates have kicked out women applicants from consideration, while facial recognition software has been shown to be biased against certain race groups. With AI taking over some very important things, is it possible to program artificial intelligence without bias?
