YouTube Removes New Videos on Trump’s Channel for Violating Policies Against Inciting Violence

YouTube has suspended the channel for a minimum of seven days from uploading new content.

(Reuters) – YouTube has removed new videos uploaded to President Donald Trump's channel for violating its policies against inciting violence, the company said late on Tuesday.

The Google-owned platform has also suspended Trump's channel from uploading new videos or livestreams for at least seven days. YouTube said that the suspension could be extended, though existing videos will remain visible.

This is the Trump channel's first offense, and YouTube has a three strikes policy before permanent cancellation of the account, which has over 2.7 million subscribers, would take effect.

The channel typically posts several videos daily of Trump speaking or being covered by fringe media outlets.
