As the economy has grown stronger and wages have inched up, the cost of living has outpaced wage growth, basically wiping out any gains. It’s growing more difficult by the year to maintain a middle class lifestyle, but thanks to the sharing economy it is possible to still have nice experiences without having to own any of the ‘stuff’ necessary to do it.
