Over the first six months of 2015, the market has not performed very well. Since the 1st of the year, the DJIA has essentially remained the same (down 0.4% to be exact). The S&P 500 has also remained practically unchanged. The NASDAQ has had modest gains, but nothing exceptional. But while the market may not have performed great, there are certain stocks that did. Here are the ten best performing mid and large cap stocks for the first six months of the year:

Conclusion

Just as the case with the small cap market, healthcare stocks have been thriving. Seven out of the top ten performing stocks in these markets are in the healthcare industry, and again, more specifically the pharmaceutical industry.
