Voip-Pal.Com Inc. (VPLM), a company that aims to provide a complete telecommunications compliance solution, announced that its RBR Messaging child patent, “Producing Routing Messages for Voice Over IP Communications,” has been issued by the United States Patent and Trademark Office. As of November 3, 2015, this patent, a continuation to the Routing, Billing and Rating Patent (RBR), has been given the status of “Patented Case.”
The Washington state based company is currently looking to monetize a portfolio of patents relating to Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) technology. Voip-Pal acquired Digifonica International Limited to fund and co-develop a patent suite that provided solutions to a number of key areas in Internet connectivity.
“We are working diligently on many fronts to monetize the patents and protect our shareholders’ interests,” said Emil Malak, CEO and Director of Voip-Pal. “We expect to have further updates of our progress in the near future.”
Voip-Pal continues to strengthen their patent portfolio in the US and abroad. In October, the company was awarded their first Canadian Patent for RBR/RBR Messaging. Also, the company received notification of allowance of the continuation patent of “Producing Routing Messages for VoIP Communications” in August, and The US Patent & Trademark Office has approved issuance of the company’s previously allowed patents this past October.
2015 has proven to be a landmark year for Voip-Pal. As the company continues to add patents to its already impressive portfolio, their complete patent portfolio of VoIP technology and intellectual property is positioned to be a valuable asset within an incredibly profitable market.
