UBS' director of floor operations at the New York Stock Exchange Art Cashin was interview on CNBC on Wednesday about the direction of the markets. With rumblings that a much bigger market correction could be on the way, the markets are in an interesting period, with iffy economic data, earnings season just beginning, a five-year bull market unsure of how it will proceed, and some major global political issues in the air.
Cashin, though, says that he thinks investors are "tip-toeing" into earnings season on account of feeling unsure about these swirling market factors.
