Update on Perlat high grade Copper, Gold, Silver in Albania

Press Releases  |

Arian Resources Corp. (ARC:CA) ("Arian") - Mr. Zahir Dhanani, Chairman & CEO of Arian, is pleased to announce that its partner at the high-grade copper-gold project, Perlat in Albania, Sinomine Resource Exploration Co., Ltd. ("Sinomine") has signed an MOU with Tirex Resources Ltd. ("Tirex") ($TXX:CA) regarding collaboration on Tirex's projects in Albania (see Tirex news release dated Aug 25, 2015). Tirex has been in Albania since 2007. The European Bank for Construction and Development (EBRD) is a major investor in Tirex.

The two companies will work on developing Tirex's Koshaj project and Rehova projects, with Sinomine agreeing to purchase mineralised materials from the Koshaj project when it is in production. Sinomine is also committed to providing the funding for further exploration work. All funds advanced will be treated as advance payment for material purchases. Arian is waiting for the feasibility study on Perlat. "We are pleased to see Sinomine committing to develop assets in Albania. Arian's Perlat project has a NI 43 -101 resource estimate of 4.66 million tonnes at 2.12% copper, with gold, silver and zinc credits. Tirex's Koshaj has a historic resource of just 707,592 tonnes at 0.98% copper and Rehova has a historic resource of 2.87 million tonnes at 2.14% copper. Thus, we feel Perlat is an asset that Sinomine is very interested in taking to production," said

Zip Dhanani, Chairman & CEO of Arian Resources.
