UK’s Largest Online Trading Platform to Offer Ethereum-Based Notes

Hargreaves Lansdown to offer Ethereum exchange-traded notes.

Hargreaves Lansdown, the largest online trading platform in the UK, announced this week that it will be launching two new exchange traded notes (ETNs) based on Ethereum. One note will be denominated in Swedish krona, while the other will be Euro denominated. Both will be listed on Nasdaq OMX.

Danny Cox, head of communications at Hargreaves Lansdown, described the new tracking notes as a “complex investment for sophisticated self-select investors,” according to CityWire.

Swedish company XBT Provider is the issuer of the notes. XBT provider is the same firm that is behind the Bitcoin tracking notes that were introduced earlier this year by Hargreaves Lansdown.
