TD Artisan Spirits Appoints JC Iglesias as VP of Marketing

In this newly created role, Iglesias will lead the creation and execution of strategic marketing programs at the trade and consumer levels for the joint venture recently formed by Terlato Artisan Spirits and Distell USA.

Iglesias brings nearly 30 years of spirits and consumer packaged goods marketing experience to the position. Most recently, he served as Global Brand Director for London-based Chivas Brothers, Ltd.'s English Gins Portfolio, where he delivered double-digit sales growth over a three-year tenure. Previous to that, Iglesias served as Director of Marketing for Scotch and Cognac at Pernod Ricard USA, establishing the company as the second largest supplier of Scotch in the U.S.

"JC's impressive experience in brand-building and his entrepreneurial spirit will help TD Artisan Spirits build and strengthen our position as a valuable player in the craft spirits arena," said Bill Terlato, president and CEO of Terlato Wine Group.

In his new role, JC will work alongside TD Artisan Spirits COO David Ballew and the marketing and sales team to create long-term success for the entire portfolio. The TD Artisan Spirits portfolio is made up of 20 brands from nine countries, including: Adelphi Selections Scotch (Scotland), Amarula Cream Liqueur (South Africa), Angostura Rum and Amaro (Trinidad and Tobago), Bain's Cape Mountain Whisky (South Africa), Black Bottle Blended Whisky (Scotland), Bisquit Cognac (France), Bunnahabhain Scotch Whisky (Scotland), Deanston Scotch Whisky (Scotland), Don Pancho Origenes Rum (Panama), Nonino Amaro and Grappa (Italy), Greenhook Ginsmiths (U.S.), Heartland Prohibition Gin (U.S.), Langley's No. 8 Gin (England); Ledaig Scotch Whisky (Scotland), Riazul Tequila (Mexico), Scottish Leader Scotch Whisky (Scotland), Springmill Bourbon (U.S.) Tigre Blanc Vodka (France), Tiramisu Liqueur (Italy), and Tobermory Scotch Whisky (Scotland).
