Sotheby's (BID) was among the biggest gainers on the Russell 2000 for Friday February 12 as the stock popped 6.09% to $20.30, representing a gain of $1.165 per share. Some 1.92 million shares traded hands on 10,777 trades, compared with an average daily volume of 1.31 million shares out of a total float of 66.83 million. The stock opened at $19.50 and traded with an intraday range of $20.36 to $19.50.

After today's gains, Sotheby's reached a market cap of $1.36 billion. Sotheby's has had a trading range between $47.28 and $18.86 over the last year, and it had a 50-day SMA of $24.66 and a 200-day SMA of $34.97.
