REP. COLLINS TALKS ABOUT EPA OVERREACH, HOW YOU CAN WEIGH IN

Congressman Doug Collins recently spoke to RFD-TV about EPA overreach and how that impacts people in Georgia.
The EPA is currently considering a rule change that would give the agency expanded authority over streams, ponds, and virtually any other small body of water. The comment period for this rule is currently open. Constituents who would like to make their views known can do so following these instructions:

2. Identify in the subject line information as follows: Name, Organization/Business (if applicable), Clean Water Act Rule Proposal Comment, and Docket ID: EPA-HQ-OW-2011-0880
3. Attach the comment as a standard Microsoft Word Document, PDF, or in traditional email text form.
4. In the signature provide a telephone number, return email address, and mailing address. This will ensure you can be contacted for inquiry if any technical difficulties arise with the delivery of your comment.

1. Package the letter and three copies in an envelope.
2. In the letter be sure to include the following: telephone number, return address, or email address. This will ensure you can be contacted, if necessary, by the EPA for information regarding your submitted comment.
