BIOflex Technologies, ,the publicly traded corporation that’s strategically focused on musculoskeletal function in the areas of pain relief, recovery and performance enhancement, has successfully completed its 2015 AGM and passed all of its corporate resolutions. Most notably, though, BIOflex haschanged its name to Relevium Technologies Inc. (CSE: RLV) The company now trades under the symbol RLV on the TSX Venture Exchange.
"The change to Relevium Technologies reflects the Company's shift in its corporate strategy,” said Leena Lakdawala, CEO of Relevium Technologies, “to focus on growth through the acquisition of businesses, products and/or technologies all within the scope of the expanding health and wellness sector targeting three main verticals: Pain Relief, Injury Recovery and Active Performance".
Relevium focuses on the acquisition of innovative products, technologies and/or businesses relating to musculoskeletal function. The company holds patented intellectual property that involves the use of magnetic fields for on direct-to-consumer wearables. The company plans to launch a new product line during fiscal 2016, initially through Direct-to-Consumer retail via e-commerce.

Along with a new change, the company has made changes to their leadership team. Relevium announced that Dr. Ted Zablotsky, M.D., co-founder of BIOflex Medical Magnetics, Inc. and co-inventor of the US Patent currently owned by Bioflex Technologies Inc., has joined the Board of Directors. Furthermore, the board of directors will be appointing an Advisory Board to assist in management in delivering on its objectives.
With a number of positive strategic changes, Relevium is positioned to create substantial momentum going into 2016. With a new name and board member, Relevium continues to strengthen their brand and further their mission to bring effective pain relief technology to the market.
