One of the most beloved and most consumed American comfort foods is pIzza. It’s nearly a crime to not have a go-to pizza parlor in one’s local neighborhood, where, day or night, locals can get a decent slice or order an entire pie. Rave Restaurants (RAVE) is one company that is making sure that the public has access to good pizza fast.
A Dallas-based company that owns, operates and franchises more than 300 Pie Five Pizza Co. and Pizza Inn restaurants domestically and internationally, Rave Restaurants is taking on the “Little Apple.” Local franchise partners, KC Pie, LLC, recently announced plans to add up to 10 new Pie Five locations in Kansas. The newest Pie Five Pizza location opens on February 19 in Manhattan, Kansas.
"As a proud Kansan and former Wildcat, I'm roaring with excitement as we open the first Pie Five location in Manhattan," said Lyssa Krumholtz, a local franchise partner "At Pie Five, we're all about individuality and guest satisfaction and who doesn't love a place where you can choose from over a million different pie combinations, have your pizza cooked in under 5 minutes and all for one low price?"
Pie Five Pizza Co., a subsidiary of RAVE Restaurant Group, is the leading brand in the rapidly growing fast-casual pizza space, offering individual handcrafted pizzas with fresh ingredients made to order in less than five minutes.
In recent months, Rave Restaurants announced the opening of a new Pie Five Pizza location in Lexington, KY, a new location in Chicago’s South Side, and revealed plans to open seven location in Memphis, TN. Currently, the subsidiary has 84 locations in 24 states and the District of Columbia.
Pie Five Pizza’s simple formula of a casual environment combined with customize-able pizzas cooked to order in five minutes is a hit. The subsidiary is aimed to continue taking over the craft pizza market, while moving Rave Restaurant Group to the forefront of the casual dining sector.
"We're changing the way people eat pizza," said Randy Gier, CEO of Rave Restaurant Group. "Everything from our hand-cut veggies to our homemade desserts can make guests feel good about what they're eating at Pie Five - we're passionate about creating an experience that really wows our guests."
