Ramada by WyndhamJumeirah, previously a four-star property, has now been upgraded to a five-star property, an official from the hotel told Hotelier Middle East.

Speaking tabout the upgrade, Wael El Behi, the property’s general manager, said the property received the upgrade a few days ago.

“Ramada by Wyndham Jumeirah has always been up to the standards, so when we invited officials from Dubai’s Tourism Ministry to inspect the property, we weren’t surprised when they told us that we needed to make just a few alterations to receive an upgrade.”

Behi added that within no time of executing the alterations, the property received an upgrade.

While he did not elaborate on what the changes were, he did reveal that the hotel is currently in the middle of upgrading a few of their F&B concepts.

“We will be upgrading one of our F&B outlets to a signature artisan indoor shisha lounge. In addition to that, we will also be upgrading our pool deck converting it to an outdoor pool venue for our guests and visitors.”

The property comprises 252 contemporary rooms and suites, six restaurants and five meeting and banquet rooms.
