Naked Brands and Dwyane Wade Encourage “The Freedom to Be You” in New Campaign

In partnership with NBA champion, Dwyane Wade, Naked Brand Group, Inc. ($NAKD) announced the launch of The Naked Truth campaign. Developed by Case Study Brands, the campaign will feature image and video driven content hosted on the The Naked Truth microsite.

"We developed the campaign to bring the Naked brand story to life and engage people in a powerful, thoughtful way," said Sara Allard, co-founder of Case Study Brands. "To be naked is to be comfortable, unencumbered and free. To be Naked is to be yourself. The Naked Truth? campaign will invite you to see a deeper side of inspirational 'Truth Tellers' like Dwyane Wade. Even more, it will ask you to write your own story, to challenge yourself to ask what is most important to you: What is your Naked Truth?"

An innovative inner fashion and lifestyle brand under the leadership of renowned designer and sleepwear pioneer Carole Hochman, Naked’s mission was to create a new standard for how products worn close to the skin fit, feel and function. The goal of this marketing and advertising campaign, featuring Wade, is to express the core brand philosophy of Naked: "the freedom to be you."

"At the heart of Naked is a philosophy about living true to yourself," says Carole Hochman, CEO and Chief Creative Officer of Naked. "As an athlete, father and champion, Dwyane Wade embodies all of the characteristics of an inspirational truth teller that we want to highlight with The Naked Truth campaign."

In recent months, Naked Brands has achieved several milestones that consistently bring more awareness to their brand and message. This past summer, the company signed a milestone endorsement and partnership agreement Wade, who is also a member of the company's advisory board, and is Creative Director for the Wade X Naked collection of men's innerwear planned to launch in 2016. Furthermore, in August, the company launched a new line of intimate apparel, sleepwear, and loungewear designed to be responsive to the lives of active women.

Exemplifying Naked's brand ideals of freedom and authenticity, notable individuals like Wade, and later actor Arjay Smith, social media influencer Joseph Knoop and Patrick Rummerfield, will act as "Truth Tellers" by sharing their experiences and life philosophies. Through a socially driven campaign focused on freedom and authenticity, Naked Brands is more than just an apparel company.
