Mace Security & SafeDefend to Offer Crisis Protection System to All

Mace Security International (MACE), a personal defense & security products solutions provider, continues to see positive movement on the market following a recently announced milestone. Earlier this month, the Ohio-based company announced, along with SafeDefend Personnel Protection Systems, a partnership that aims to, according to its official website, “create the premier protection approach for employees, teachers, and students from incidents including active shooters and other emergencies.”

With the number of crisis incidents increasingly over the years, notably the increase of mass shootings incidents in the United States, various business and educational sectors are seeking ways to keep its most important asset, its students, employees, and other building occupants, safe and prepared. With its expertise in crisis preparation for schools, hospitals, government buildings, and corporate offices, SafeDefend will combine its proprietary active shooter and incident preparations program with Mace Security’s Mace® Brand products to meet this demand.

Recognized as a global leader in personal security and safety, Mace Security’s extensive line of products includes pepper spray, tactical equipment, and surveillance equipment.

This partnership is an opportunity for Mace Security to expand beyond correctional facilities and military bases. “We are proud to provide our nation’s law enforcement, corrections, and military with best-in-class, less lethal options,” said John McCann, CEO and President of Mace® Security “Now, through our partnership with SafeDefend we can enhance our efforts to protect our children and school officials, people working in medical and food industries, public employees, employees of corporations, and many more.”

Keeping society prepared for unseen events is a sizeable challenge; however, thanks to the efforts of Mace Security and SafeDefend, citizens can enter a campus, workplace, or government building knowing that their safety comes first. “We are extremely pleased to partner with SafeDefend,” said McCann, “and look forward to enhancing the safety of civilians all over the country.”
