Leading Department Stores Now Carrying Naked Brand Products

Spotlight Companies  |

When it comes to our preferred apparel brands, one factor is essential: availability. I like the flexibility of being able to walk into a department store in order to see and feel the product in person. Depending on one’s loyalty to a brand, it’s not unheard of to travel in order to purchase highly sought after products; however, the more convenient, the better. So, it’s always exciting news to hear that one’s favorite brand is going to be available for purchase through a major department store. For those of you who can’t live without Naked Brand Group (NAKD), an innovative inner fashion and lifestyle brand, some very good news has just been announced by the company.

Today, Naked revealed that Dillard’s (DDS), Soma and Saks Fifth Avenue (SKS) are now carrying Naked’s highly anticipated women’s line, including its Luxury Modal intimates and Everyday Pima Cotton intimates products. “We are delighted to continue the roll out of our women’s intimates, loungewear and sleepwear collection with great retail partners like Saks, Dillards and Soma,” said Carole Hochman, CEO and Chief Creative Officer of Naked.

Headquartered in New York City, Naked is on a mission to create a new standard for how products worn close to the skin fit, feel and function. Under the leadership of renowned designer and sleepwear pioneer Carole Hochman, the company launched its women's intimate apparel collection. Designed by Hochman, Naked's first collection of women's intimates provides effortless comfort and a "light as air" fit, the famous signatures of a Hochman design.

Also, Naked penned a milestone endorsement and partnership agreement with NBA Miami HEAT Champion Dwyane Wade, who is a member of the company's advisory board, and is Creative Director for the Wade X Naked collection of men's inner wear.

The company’s men's line is available for purchase in major department stores and online retailers, such as Nordstrom, (NYE: JWN), Hudson Bay, Holt Renfrew, Amazon.com (NGS: AMZN), and BareNecessities.com.

With a number of major retailers stocking their products, not to mention securing a major celebrity endorsement, Naked continues to lead the intimate apparel market. And, there is still more to be seen from the company. According to the company website, Naked Brands plans to expand into other apparel and product categories to further their positive message. All these factors at play aim to position the company at the forefront of a $110 billion industry.
