KonaRed CEO Shaun Roberts stated, "We embrace active lifestyles and good nutrition, and this is at the core of our business. We are very excited to be sponsors of these amazing runs and we will continue to look for opportunities to sponsor local events. Both of these events bring out great people, some excellent charitable organizations and sponsors who believe in fitness and healthy lifestyles. Hawaii is an ideal setting for outdoor activities and draws people from all over the world. Our beverages and powders are ideal for anyone who wants to be healthy and are very popular not only with CrossFit athletes, but with all types of athletes as they get a good nutritional boost without all the sugar that is present in the average sports drink. Our beverages are packed with anti-oxidants and nutrients and also taste great. KonaRed products help with energy, immune support and focus, all of which are vital to athletes but also benefit ordinary people who simply enjoy the taste and living a healthy lifestyle. We are excited to support these two events and we really like the fact that all the proceeds of the Ultimate Trial Run by CrossFit Poipu go to children in the form of scholarships for CrossFit."
