Vancouver, BC / February 2, 2016 - INVICTUS MD STRATEGIES CORP. ("Invictus MD" or the "Company") (CSE: IMH; OTC: IVITF; FRA: 8IS) is pleased to report that Future Harvest Development Ltd. (“Future Harvest”), of which Invictus MD currently owns 75%, has achieved their highest sales ever in the month of December, totalling $678,958 during the month of December, 2015, representing a 22% increase as compared to December 2014; and a 117% increase as compared to December 2013.
Mike Blady, VP Sales and Marketing of Future Harvest commented, “The state of our industry remains strong as people continue to eat with increased concern and interest in what’s in their food, where it comes from, and how one can take control of this. Future Harvest helps our customers grow fresh, healthy food from seed to table. Historically, the last half of the year is a significantly stronger revenue-generating period for the company. This is due to distributors and lawn & garden centers stocking up for the spring and summer growing seasons”
Based on Future Harvest’s fiscal year end of June 30, 2016, total year to date sales for the six months ended December 31, 2015 have reached approximately $2.9 million, this compares to $1.89 million for the same period ending December 2014.
The lawn and garden industry was a $7.6 billion industry in the US in 2014, with fertilizer and consumables representing the largest portion of this market. This market continues to see steady year over year growth. Coupled with the explosive growth in the emerging hydroponic industry, Future Harvest finds itself in an excellent position to capitalize in both industries in 2016.
