HOLLY is the most powerful machine learning analyst that applies Artificial Intelligence to identify tested market opportunities for active investors, advisors, and fund managers. With the ability to adapt and understand changing market conditions in real-time, HOLLY becomes your Virtual Ph.D. on staff, whose optimized algorithms, come with a fully formed trading plan for each opportunity as well as the real-time execution guidance during the market session. Every evening and overnight HOLLY conducts a ‘Quantitative Combine’ that performs over a million simulated trades against 55 different concepts. Each concept has a different purpose designed to beat the market. The AI looks at everything; long, short, cheap and expensive, fundamental, social, technical data and everything volume driven, etc. to identify successful trading probabilities and will change parameters within each concept as needed in order to achieve optimized results. The Quantitative Combine yields each morning a list of 5-10 algorithms graded against proprietary criteria that contain the greatest, statistically tested probability of identifying successful opportunities in the market. The results are displayed in the AI Strategies Window. Only the strategies with a success rate above 60% and a 2:1 Profit Factor are visible the following day. This information advantage saves novices and veterans hours of research and testing. It produces actionable, more informed market intelligence that once experienced, becomes impossible to omit in subsequent market decisions. HOLLY crunches market data in San Diego and if she ever experienced time off, she’d gladly share in the success her clients enjoy and surf. Learn more at www.trade-ideas.com/professional

“Topping Formation” Leads The Daily Regime of Optimized Algorithms

Good morning. “‘Topping Formation’, today’s high performing algorithm, headlines the Holly Morning Huddle Report.”

As of today, Monday, September 10, 2018, the return from my trading performance since January 1 stands at +76.7 accumulated profit points vs the benchmark SPY’s performance of +15.5 points over the same period. On Friday my performance was higher +.4 in Risk-Off mode (shown above). Risk-Off mode is where trades are not extended and exits are bounded by predetermined time in trade limits absent other reasons to exit (e.g., price target or stop loss reached, etc.) On Friday, the SPY was down -.6. My Risk-On mode, which extends the holding period for trades until the day’s close, was down -2.0 points.

59 stocks traded yesterday: 51 long and 8 stocks traded short in the following sectors. 22/59 were in the Manufacturing sector.

Have a great morning. See you in the markets!

To say the current situation isn’t pretty now seems an understatement, and it’s likely to remain chaotic for a while. Which is why it’s so important for leaders of all kinds not to fall prey to the very human tendency to go negative, playing the blame game.
Bargain-hunting friends of mine have been asking: “Should I buy First Republic?” After all, First Republic is prestigious. Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg got a mortgage there. Dozens of customer surveys rate its satisfaction scores higher than super-brands like Apple and Ritz-Carlton.
Many of us economy-watchers have been expecting recession, though with significant differences on odds and timing. Regardless, recent banking developments just made recession more likely and may have accelerated its onset.
