California - December 22, 2014 - GTX Corp, GTX Corp. (GTXO) , a pioneer and global provider of personal location wearable technologies, is pleased to announce that its GPS SmartSoles™ will be made available for consumers to order beginning Monday, December 22nd 2014. The U.S will be the first country to launch, with Canada and Switzerland to follow in the coming weeks and several additional countries in the first part of 2015.
GTX Corp's patented GPS SmartSoles™, which were featured in AARP’s 2015 technology gear guide are placed in the wearer’s shoes and contain a GPS tracking chip connected through a cellular network that sends a signal to a central monitoring website or app showing the exact location of the individual wearing the SmartSoles™. They come in several trim to fit sizes for both men and women, are made with the highest quality electronic components and assembled in Rhode Island, U.S.A.
The simplicity behind the SmartSole™ Platform is that when someone wanders off or becomes lost, a text or email alert is sent to a phone and computer, with a direct link to a map plotting the wanderer’s location delivering peace of mind to the caregiver.
The GPS SmartSole™ was created for people that have a tendency to wander off. For caregivers who are charged with the care of someone with Alzheimer’s, dementia, Autism or another cognitive disorder, keeping a close eye on loved ones is essential. However, even the most devoted caretaker cannot monitor every moment which is why GTX Corp developed the smart, wearable technology. Patti's Story: Caring for a loved one with dementia
“Today marks a true milestone for us as we take our next big step into providing a sound, sensible and affordable monitoring solution to the millions of caregivers who devote their lives to their loved ones afflicted with these debilitating diseases,” commented Patrick Bertagna, Founder and CEO of GTX Corp. “I want to thank our team and partners across the globe who have worked tirelessly this past year to bring this long awaited product to market and the thousands of people who have contacted us and waited patiently for this launch.”
Due to strong early preorders, the GPS SmartSoles™ are expected to launch in high demand and inventory will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis to consumers who order online.
