VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA–(Jan. 20, 2015) – Garmatex Technologies, Inc. (“Garmatex”), an industry disrupting inventor and supplier of scientifically-engineered performance fabrics, today announces the launch of two revolutionary apparel technologies at the PGA 2015 Merchandise Show in Orlando, Florida. These include Prime4orm™, a bio-anatomical shirt™ that improves golf form by re-engineering the body form and posture, and a new line of smart IceSkin™ Gear accessories, to help regulate body temperature in warm weather.

“We experienced a tremendous response to our IceSkin™ golf shirt at the PGA Fashion & Demo Experience show in August 2014,” says Martin Doane, Garmatex’s CEO. “We are excited to unveil Prime4orm™ and IceSkin™ Gear accessories this week at the PGA Merchandise Show, and offer a new alternative for professional and amateur golfers.”

Both clothing technologies have very unique and innovative traits-the first product, Prime4orm™, bio-anatomical shirt™, aims to increase the suppleness and flexibility of muscles by re-engineering the body form of golfers to release tension and stiffness. The Prime4orm™ design is complimented by a varied group of intelligent fabrics meticulously placed for optimal functioning.

For the creator of the Prime4orm™ fabrics, Garmatex’s Chief Innovation Officer Doug Thom, it’s changing the way he plays golf: “The first time I wore it I dropped ten strokes off my normal score and I experienced none of the back pain that has been hurting me for the last 20 plus years. This is especially noticeable on the last 4 holes of any round. This miracle shirt allows me to play 36 holes a day with the kind of energy that I haven’t had since my 20’s.”

The second innovation from Garmatex, IceSkin™ Gear, use 100% natural jade minerals for its unique natural cooling properties to keep wearers cool in the heat. Unlike the majority of technical fabrics that contain a natural sweetener found in gum to produce a cooling effect, IceSkin™ takes a revolutionary leap forward with its embedded fiber technology-a multi-layered, three dimensional knitting process that is uniquely engineered to ensure the cooling effect remains permanent for the life of the garment. IceSkin™ accessories include everything from towels to wristbands, and can be logoed for specific golf courses, resorts and corporate resellers.

Garmatex’s full range of Prime4orm™ and IceSkin™ product samples to be available from January 21-23, at the 2015 PGA show in Florida, and are expected to be in retail stores throughout Canada and the US beginning in spring 2015.
