Foxconn Sues 3 Japanese Firms for Patent Infringement

TAIWAN, June 26, SinoCast -- Foreign media said that Foxconn Technology Group declared lawsuit against three Japanese companies accusing them of patent infringement involving flat panels used for TVs, displays, laptops, tablet computers and smart phones, without clear demand for compensation value, signaling that Foxconn is making profit from expanding patents for electronic manufacturing, extending reach out of manufacturing to reduce dependence on Apple.

Involved three Japanese companies, namely, Toshiba, Funai Electric and Mitsubishi Electric, have not made comments.
