BERKELEY HEIGHTS, N.J. (AP) _ CorMedix Inc. (CRMD) on Tuesday reported a loss of $696,000 in its second quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Berkeley Heights, New Jersey-based company said it had a loss of 3 cents. Losses, adjusted for pretax gains, came to 24 cents per share.

The pharmaceutical and medical device company posted revenue of $35,300 in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $35,000.

CorMedix shares have risen 27% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $8.20, more than doubling in the last 12 months.
