Blockchain Based Smart Power Grids Could Give Power to the People

As consumers, we don’t really have much say in where our power comes from. We can install our own solar power grids if we want clean energy for our homes, but aside from that our options are pretty limited, at least for now. In the near future blockchain technologies could be used to design a smart power grid that could give people the option to choose the source of their energy, thereby generating more demand for things like renewables and clean energy.
