Winter is a rough time for a lot of people. It's cold and no matter how much you layer, you just can't seem to get warm. But what's more, we're all missing out on sunlight and time outdoors, and it's affecting a lot of things we may not even notice. Sunlight does more than help us to see and warm the planet. It sets our circadian rhythms, helps our bodies produce vitamin D, and even regulates our moods. Lack of sunlight in the winter time could contribute to the winter blues, and if left unchecked it could turn to Seasonal Affective Disorder.
