Third-party logistics provider Kane Is Able, Inc. (KANE http://www.kaneisable.com) today named veteran human resources professional, Joe Turturica, its new Vice President of Human Resources. Turturica will oversee human resource responsibilities for 1,000 KANE associates across 16 nationwide offices and distribution centers. He will report to KANE President and CEO, Pete Westermann.

Joes human resources management experience spans employee relations, safety management, talent acquisition and organizational development, says Westermann. He has the experience to sustain KANEs position as a logistics industry employer of choice.

Turturica has 17 years of human resources management experience in the manufacturing, transportation services, and construction equipment rental industries with RSC Equipment Rental, Penske Truck Leasing/General Electric Company, and Detroit Diesel Corporation. Prior to joining KANE, he was President & Certified Business Coach at ActionCOACH Business Coaching.

Turturica holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and a Bachelor of Science in psychology from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master of Science degree in human resource administration from the University of Scranton.
