Athena Cosmetics, Inc. Disagrees With Court Ruling

Today a district court judge ruled that RevitaLash Advanced Eyelash Conditioner is a drug, not a cosmetic. The ruling came in a civil lawsuit filed by Allergan Inc., maker of Latisse, a drug intended for the treatment of hypotrichosis. Athena Cosmetics, Inc., maker of the RevitaLash brand of cosmetics, disagrees with the ruling, and intends to vigorously pursue its legal options. Despite the Court's ruling, Athena is confident that all RevitaLash products are safe and lawful cosmetics. However, out of an abundance of caution, Athena has suspended domestic sales of RevitaLash Advanced Eyelash Conditioner until further notice. All other RevitaLash products remain available for purchase.
