BRIEF: Bon-Ton opening new stores [The York Dispatch, Pa.]

Dec. 12--The Bon-Ton Stores, Inc. on Wednesday announced it has opened two new stores.

One of the new locations is a 120,800-square-foot facility at The Maine Mall in South Portland, Maine, and the other is a 122,000-square-foot facility at Glenbrook Square in Fort Wayne, Ind. Both malls are owned by Chicago-based General Growth Properties, Inc.

Bon-Ton will begin remodeling the stores in February and expects the work to be completed by mid-September, according to a news release.

The announcement marks Bon-Ton's first move into Maine and its 14th store in Indiana.

Bon-Ton has headquarters in both Springettsbury Township and Milwaukee.
