BOSTON, Aug. 27 -- The Massachusetts Executive Office for Administration & Finance's Public Employee Retirement Administration Commission issued the following bulletin:

ECM Specialist

DETAILED STATEMENT OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Work closely with Vendors on the implementation of Software/Hardware Systems analyze our business requirements and processes maintain and support the deployed Systems design and develop custom solutions

Maintain and support the Cardiff Teleform Systems re-design forms using Cardiff Design Tool define forms to Teleform for automatic form recognition and classification modify scanner configuration for optimal document capture

Maintain and support the Oracle Enterprise Content Management (ECM) System.

Expand the use of the ECM system to enhance productivity and improve service to our constituents.

Assist in the integration of PERAC's internal applications with other systems.

Design, create, and maintain automated work flow processes, develop and maintain custom scripts for retrieval of appropriate index information from PERAC's database, and for enhancing the automated work flow processes.

Design, and maintain PERAC's taxonomy to ensure staff is able to easily capture and retrieve authorized documents.

Coordinate and document all system changes with affected users and I.S. colleagues.

Provide support to staff on deployed software/hardware systems and assist IS staff in resolving any computer related problem or inquiry.

Provide staff training on use of any deployed software/hardware system.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED AT HIRE (List knowledge, skills and abilities)

Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field, plus 1+ years working experience with scanning and content management systems, as well as, experience working with HTML, XML, XSLT, Javascript, Perl, VBscript, and .Net. Working knowledge of SQL compliant relational database systems, i.e. Sybase, Oracle, Microsoft SQL. Knowledge of Microsoft's Windows, SharePoint and Office, Cardiff Teleform, and Oracle (Stellent) ECM software would be a plus.

MINIMUM ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS

Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field, plus 1+ years working experience with scanning and content management system,

Salary Range: $65,000 - $80,000
