WASHINGTON, Aug. 22 -- The Club for Growth issued the following news release:

The Club for Growth PAC today announced that it is endorsing Congressman Connie Mack for the United States Senate in Florida. The seat is currently held by Democratic Senator Bill Nelson, who is running for re-election:
