Aug 21, 2012 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) --Independent Franchise Partners, LLP, an independent investment management partnership, has re-appointed Northern Trust Corporation, a provider of investment management solutions, to provide full investment operations outsourcing for its $8.1 billion in assets under management.
As part of the broad mandate, Northern Trust will provide custody, investment operations, fund accounting, transfer agency, performance measurement and client reporting to Independent Franchise Partners.
Mark Herraman, head of investment operations outsourcing business development at Northern Trust, said: "When IFP first approached Northern Trust in 2009, it was looking for one of the shortest launch periods we had seen in the industry - from appointment to migration in 72 days. Now, three years later, we are delighted to continue to support them by taking away the administrative burden of investment management, enabling them to focus on capturing investment opportunities."
Laurence Everitt, head of Global Fund Services UK at Northern Trust, said: "Our integrated global technology platform can provide the transparency, control and speed-to-market that fund managers require. Particularly in an environment of increasing regulatory and economic challenges, the ability to provide daily risk and performance data to our fund manager clients, in an accessible - often mobile - format is taking greater prominence."
John Kelly Jones, COO at IFP, said: "We are pleased to continue to work with Northern Trust, an organization which consistently demonstrates a strong focus on its clients. Northern Trust has demonstrated an ability to build and rapidly implement a flexible and robust platform to meet our aggressive launch date and support the diversity of our client base. This outsourced investment operations solution has also accommodated our rapid growth and allowed us to deliver the highest levels of service to our clients, and we continue to see value in outsourcing our investment operations."http://www.datamonitor.comRepublication or redistribution, including by framing or similar means,is expressly prohibited without prior written consent.
