Texada Completes Name Change to Noble Iron; Now Trading as NIR
Penton Business MediaNoble Iron announced today that the name of the company has beenofficially changed from Texada Software to Noble Iron Inc.Effective today the companys common shares are trading onthe TSX Venture Exchange under the name Noble Iron Inc. and thesymbol NIR.
We are pleased to have executed the name change to NobleIron Inc., which we plan to build into a leading company in theequipment industry, said Willie Swisher, Noble Iron CEO.Noble Irons equipment rental business and dealershipwill operate as Noble Iron, and our software divisionwill continue operating under the brand name TexadaSoftware.
Noble Iron also completed the consolidation of its outstandingcommon shares on the basis of one new common share for every fiveold common shares. Before the consolidation, the company had85,908,104 common shares issued and outstanding;post-consolidation, the company has about 17,181,636 common sharesissued and outstanding.
Our change of name to Noble Iron Inc. represents aprogression in our strategy to expand our business from that of apure enterprise software company to an advanced platform operatingdirectly in the equipment rental and dealership sector, saidNobil Kassam, executive chairman of Noble Iron. Our shareconsolidation will better position Noble Irons engagementwith global capital markets as we continue executing ourstrategy.
