BRIEF: Reward offered after weekend break-ins at Templeton businesses [The Tribune, San Luis Obispo, Calif.]
By Bob Cuddy, The Tribune, San Luis Obispo, Calif.McClatchy-Tribune Information ServicesJuly 12--Vandals trashed businesses at a complex at 212 Main St. in Templeton last weekend, breaking into them, stealing goods, and spraying a fire extinguisher, according to the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office.
The department said the damage occurred sometime between 6:30 p.m. Friday and 10:15 a.m. Sunday.
Among the items taken, officials said, were a small refrigerator, three Dell laptop computers, a Gateway laptop computer, a safe, a DVD player, an iPod Shuffle with speakers, a Panasonic camera, computer software, miscellaneous items and cash.
Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrators. Anyone with information is asked to call the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office at 781-4550 or, to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 549-STOP (549-7867).
