United States : DELL to buy QUEST SOFTWARE for US $2.4 billion [TendersInfo (India)]

Dell is all set to purchase Quest Software for US $2.4 billion.

Founded in 1987, Quest Software is headquartered in Aliso Viejo, Calif. The company serves over 100,000 customers across the world, including 87% of Fortune 500. The company has about 3,850 workers and runs 60 offices in 23 countries. Quest Software s products comprise Toad database management toolset, Quest One Identity management software, and SonicWALL and Secureworks products. All of these products will support Dell's portfolio.
