Michael McTague, Ph.D., Executive Vice President, Able Global Partners in New York, serves clients in a variety of industries that seek capital for expansion, acquisition, consolidation or re-financing. He works to define business plans including the specific purposes and uses of funds and how to structure a capital raise.
Dr. McTague has spoken at various conferences and is the author of five books, four management development workshops and numerous articles on business and higher education. His books include Principles of Business Management, and Business Skills for Bankers, both published by Glencoe-McGraw-Hill. He was the keynote speaker at EQUITIES Magazine’s 57th Anniversary Conference (2008) speaking on the topic: “Raising Capital in a Difficult Market.” He also spoke on the topic: “Toward Excellence in Higher Education,” part of a series on Front Page New York, a television program broadcast on CBS, NJET and other stations.
He wrote three series of business articles covering “Issues in Raising Capital in The Current Economy, A Look at Selected Industries,” “The Seven Deadly Sins of Strategic Planning,” and “The Seven Deadly Sins of Raising Capital.” He has also taught many college and MBA courses.
